Paloma City

So, where were we when we left Paloma Estate? I can hardly remember, I’ve been so busy and haven’t updated in forever! I’m sorry guys! Hopefully, when I get my new graphics card in the mail, I’ll have more motivation to play. I’ve also decided not that at least for a little while, I’m going to take a break from the storytelling aspect of my Legacy Challenge. I’ve found that it takes too long to create the whole story line so that each picture makes sense when I don’t already have a story planned out, opposed to creating the stroy and then taking pictures to go along with them. Make sense? Well if I remember right, Aurora and Dawn had just turned in to toddlers! And very good toddlers, if I may add that in. Here they are playing with their dollhouse together.

When we left off, Seth was busy wooing his girlfriend, Sophie. He had tried to kiss her, hoping that she would accept, but no such luck. So, the next day after he got home from school, he planned to invite her over again and try for that kiss again. But when he looked at his report card, he temporarily forgot about that plan. A+!! He worked really hard for that, and finally, he had it! He ran inside the house to show Jessie, but he was sleeping in the nursery.

Well the Mellons have had a very tiring 4 days, that’s for sure. What, with their father/brother-in-law dying, moving into a new house, and finding their soulmates within 2 days. Well here’s the story of how they did it.

As soon as Brandon got home from work as a lobbyist, he knew his time had come. His daughter and brother-in-law were both at work so they weren’t around to see him pass, but he left a headstone behind for them to remember him by. (Although not the pretty marble ones!)

Well, unexpectedly, a lot happened during the last 4 sim days in Paloma Estate. But, before we get to that, I want to show you the official picture of the family cemetary. Of course, there will be many more official pictures after this as the Paloma’s go through generations……As you guys probably already know, Jerry and Christy’s graves are not in there because of the dreaded carpool bug and I had to move them out into another neighborhood, leaving the graves behind.

So, anyways, let’s start this story, shall we?

Before I start on this update on the Mellons, let me warn you again that it’s very boring! It will be very choppy and I think I got the order wrong. This is just to update you on who’s grown up or died. I realized that I was ahead of myself because I kept playing the main house and never visited the Mellons, so while I was playing the Mellons, it was on high speed 90% of the time and I only took pictures of birthdays. I decided to only include their transitions, not the pictures of them about to transition. Does that make sense? I hope so! Anyways….I hope you’re not too confused. On with the update!
